Lacking Diversity!

Business Outlook

Pros

- Health benefits - PTO - Professional development - Remote work

Cons

GlobalGiving is seriously lacking diversity! There needs to be more people of color, specifically on the Growth and Grants team. GG claims to want to reflect the community they serve but this is not the current reality. There needs to be more effort to hire people of color and people form historically marginalized communities.

Pros

Global Giving places high value on staff welfare and on exploratory learning.

Cons

Some of the organization’s work moves very slowly because of the constant questioning and talk around what it means to be locally led.
