Pros

Fully remote. Good base pay.

Cons

A lot of managers used to work for the American big tech companies like Amazon, LinkedIn and Expedia. Those managers have made Go1 toxic like American big tech. At least in Big Tech, you get NASDAQ-listed stocks. In Go1, you get worthless employee stock options. The company is slowly shrinking. That means, more work for the remaining employees.

Pros

- Learning culture from top to bottom. Employees are incentivised to be curious, learn and improve themselves. - Leadership is approachable, receptive to feedback and cares about the well-being of employees. - Moving to a newer tech stack and open to embrace newer paradigms.

Cons

- remote first can be an adjustment for those used to working from offices.

Pros

Best time working with the team of software engineers.

Cons

Work load varies, sometime the agile goals are relaxed but when it gets busy, we may have to work overtime. But we get compensated for overtime, which is excellent
