Pros
Nice, helpful co-workers and above minimum wage to start. That's about it, there aren't very many pros.
Cons
I was hired to work in the bakery, but ended up doing cold prep---AND DISPLAY COOKING!!--which I was not trained to do ! My interview was for bakery and I interviewed with the bakery manager. I show up to work my first day, and was informed "Oh..we need someone for cold prep--you're going to do that!" Huh? Well,ok....I'll give it a shot. But---I was also told "You have to custom cook omelet for guests". I know how to make omelets---in my own home, with NO ONE watching me. So now, here I am--A BAKER--- cooking omelets. This was my first day working at GC, so I was nervous enough, but here I am cooking omelets for hordes of trashy customers. Of course, I made a few mistakes and the high-quality GC clientele let their displeasure be known! I stuck it out for a few days--just to get a paycheck-- and thankfully found a full-time baking job.. Also---GC does NOT go by your availability. They schedule you all sorts of weird & inconsistent hours. One day I was working 8am-4PM and the next day 2PM-10PM!
