      Pros

      Great company with good benefits and opportunities to do community service.

      Cons

      The management style of the CIO is utterly terrible and treats people with no respect , instills fear , negativity and doesn't trust anyone. GSF emphasizes on creed and values but it's neither followed or implemented in reality. It feels like a toxic workplace which starts at the top management who don't show appreciation, authenticity and trust towards their employees.

      Pros

      The GSF Foundation does an excellent job in giving back to the community. The time and money it invests in helping others really showe.

      Cons

      At this company there is a great deal of importance on its creed & values, however they are not adhered to at all. The environment is similiar to “Big Brother is watching you.” The root cause of this problem is the CIO, who constantly micro manages and plays favorites. Others are quick to notice the partiality from the CIO, and can easily become disengaged, as a result. In addition, there is no work-life balance and no support to pursue growth. The expectation is to work within a little box. This lack of support reduces productivity & innovation.

      Pros

      There is hardly anything positive nowadays since the new CIO joined.

      Cons

      The CIO has made the IT environment very toxic and she talks behind most of the folks. She puts one leader against the other. Shows off to be sweet person to non-directs and the upper management (manages up well) but is very conniving and mean. Run,if you are in GSF IT, and do not even think of joining if you want to maintain sanity.
