The senior management is either not concerned, or not bothered about the way the IT department is being run by the CIO. No proper guidance nor direction, blame game for every little thing, verbal and written warnings flung for everything. People are moved from roles, upwards, downwards, laterally within the blink of an eye. Nepotism and brown nosing prevails so much that complaints to HR are disregarded. Those who don't agree with the CIO are either out of the door or badly treated while those who do constantly are rewarded. Scores of people have left, some who had been with the company for many years, some who had tremendous skill and experience. Those remaining are scared for their job and scared to say anything.
Do yourself a favor - stay away.
