Pros

Name, volumes, exposure, exit opps. You can go to pretty much wherever after working at Goldman Sachs. If you want to move internally you would be in the leading teams in the street for almost anything

Cons

The lack of transparency and the soul-crushing volumes can wear juniors out in a year or less. Middle management is too numerous and sometimes not useful at all. Salary below average for the street.
