Toxic popular kids club culture

Pros

They did understand the value of work life balance. The office space was really enjoyable to work in. The 9-5 work hours were great.

Cons

Lack of direction. Management did not communicate and was passive aggressive. It was a small office so if you were not part of the cool kids you were left out. They hired a lot of friends and the conversations at work were unprofessional.

Good and Fun Place to Work

Pros

* CEO has a strong vision of where the company is headed * More than fair pay * All 3 co-founders still leading the company after 15 years * Profitable * Generally intelligent and hard-working people * Fun culture * Company actually does something valuable and useful and is the best in that space

Cons

* Definitely some favoritism. There's a few specific employees that seem to have gotten promoted really high up for no apparent reason other than they are liked by top management. * Sales people aren't called sales people (venue advisors), which is weird. They therefore don't get trained like you'd expect salespeople to be trained.
