      Pros

      This is a great organization, with plenty of promotion potential. Good benefits, great people, and a beautiful campus. Lots of caring people here that are passionate about what they do. Low stress, high visibility.

      Cons

      Salary is good...but some positions are paid less than in other places for same position. Technology is paid less than industry...not sure about other portions of the organization.

      Pros

      The faith-based culture is uplifting (and hard to find these days), the work environment hits the right balance of professional and comfortable, co-workers are encouraging and supportive, the work/life balance is very reasonable and flexible when necessary, benefits are solid.

      Cons

      It's a large organization, which has inherent issues with decision-making speed, approval turnaround, and overall organizational agility. At the same time, the size of the organization provides some stability in a generally unstable employment environment.

      Pros

      I have found the Good Samaritan Society to be a very compassionate employer...a breath of fresh air in my career. I believe the work I do really matters and that I am improving the life of others, and my boss has utmost respect for me. The Good Samaritan Society's Christian mission is very authentic. I also have a very healthy home life/work life balance.

      Cons

      It's a big company so it can be hard to understand everyone's roles.
