Pros

Goodtimes is a great place to work. The stores are usually small so its almost guaranteed you'll make at least one friend while working there. They start off at an above average pay rate, which usually attracts most. Working there is almost never boring, and with a consistently busy day, it can definitely make the time fly by. Plus working at Goodtimes can be both easy and challenging at the same time, its really up to you on how to go about it. Follow the check-off list and your daily goals are accomplished and over with so there's not anything to keep you held over the time your scheduled. But manage to put things off, and rest assured that, that list is still required to get completed. So they help you almost learn how to plan your day properly, and how to find ways to work around it in the off chance you get a super consistently busy day.

Cons

When you think hard enough about it, only one downside to working at Goodtimes, is when there's like a special event or something going on and your store is the closest one to it. Because more often than not, those are the days where it seems like there's never ANY downtime, there's like a never ending line of customers, and its usually when those cutomers are here from out of state and never eaten at Goodtimes before. So before you know it, it seems like they have odered every item on the menu. And having to maintain a specific hand out time, with all that food, that requires a certain amount of cooking time, with every customer, all day, with what seems like no end. Could potentially make for a stressful shift.

Pros

Most employees actually have fun with each other. Some management do join in. Growing company. 50% employee discount. Management does the training. Hands-on training. Cross-training. Customer Service.

Cons

Training could be better. They say they want to mostly avoid throwing you into the mix right away but that's how I felt was happening anyway. Lots of complaining by half of the employees especially by management. Half of the management seem like they hate working there. Small, no break room, no official training area. Some management think that the training videos are almost enough for you to mostly know everything already. You train in every station and remembering everything does take a really long time and in that time you are basically a burden to everyone around you. Cash Register is a little less than user-friendly. Sometimes the training videos do not match up to the hands-on training.
