Pros

I've only been here a little while, but I can honestly say this is the most exciting and potentialy rewarding gig I've ever had. Amazing people. Important work. Rapidly growing. Engaging challenges.

Cons

My commute is bad but that's my fault. I need to move outta the sticks. Luckily they're super flexible about working from home. See!? Even a "con" turns into a "pro" at this place.

Pros

The people - The people I worked with were hands-down the best part of work life every day. The company hires upbeat, down-to-earth, friendly, can-do individuals, and it makes work truly enjoyable. The CEOs in particular - The CEOs are some of the most down-to-earth people at the company, and they genuinely care about making GoodRx a place you'll want to stay for the long haul. If they're free, they are interested in chatting with you, regardless of whether you're a "low-level" employee or not. The company culture - The positive, upbeat, can-do people create the positive, upbeat, can-do culture, which in turn creates a warm, welcoming environment for newcomers. There are regular company-sponsored happy hours open to anyone who would like to join as well as catered lunches twice a week and a large, regularly-stocked snack bar/drink fridge. Work-life balance - It is nearly impossible to beat the work-life balance offered at GoodRx. Unlimited PTO (yes, even if you are an hourly employee!) and opportunities to work from home if needed, for me, meant that I could see my out-of-state family often and deal with a minor medical crisis without worrying about being able to pay my bills. The location - The 10th floor office right off of 3rd Street Promenade is the cherry on top. It affords gorgeous views of the beach/ocean and is just blocks from dozens and dozens of food hot spots. If you receive an offer of employment from GoodRx, accept it and thank me later.

Cons

The main con for me is that I don't work here anymore (I had to move cities). The only other con I can think of is that working here does come with your run-of-the-mill startup chaos due to very few processes and policies being in place. But if you're ok with winging things and using your best judgement with the help and support of co-workers, it's a minor con to be sure.
