Pros

Helping others to become employable in today's job market is a rewarding job. There is an employee discount for all re-sale merchandise. The location is central and easy to get to.

Cons

Pay disparity is a problem, which hurts moral. Any bonuses are based on a percentage of what a person makes. A 2% bonus for a part or flex-time employee making just over $8 per hour is insignificant.

Pros

Well regarded nonprofit has a strong presence in the community; offers a lot of support and training to people looking for work and job opportunities for people who might otherwise have trouble getting hired. They give people a chance.

Cons

Salary and benefits are a bit below average; some arbitrary decisions have been made by the leadership while employees are sometimes not given adequate information. The required "safety meetings" were a joke, and some of the trainings were not very useful.

Pros

Relatively decent pay for no necessary experience, see lots of interesting things, decent amount of freedom at work, customers are usually friendly, and you are doing something valuable for people.

Cons

Management was rough to deal with at times (ultimately why I left), and the few customers that are bad are really bad.
