      Big Tech Perks Come With Red Tape

      The resources were amazing and so much could be done with the amount of spend. I was able to work on some cool technologies.

      Cons

      Heavily burdened by red-tape and how much freedom your manager gives you. If you have a bad manager, you're going to have a bad time.

      Lack of transparency More and more unfair treatment and politics. There is no real diversity and inclusion.

      Pros

      Good compensation but they push you into a more junior role than you deserve, so the compensation is not as good as it should be. No merit increases in 2023 and no equity grants your first year on the job.

      Cons

      Terrible political tension and strife within the Legal Department and Global Affairs; very limited upward mobility and even internal lateral mobility is non-existent in 2023. Managers gaslight their team members and falsely throw their team members under the bus when interacting with upper management or other orgs. The Legal Department is over-staffed. Microsoft does almost as much with less than half the personnel.
