Cons
Despite paying lip service to the importance of diversity, your success or failure at Google all comes down to who you boss is. The way that performance in sales roles is judged heavily favors neurotypical people in that you are expected to have immediate recall and be able to task switch constantly. This is incredibly difficult for people with ADHD and despite going to HR and opening conversations with my manager I was managed out, despite consistently hitting all of my sales goals. There has also been a marked cultural shift away from the original core tenants. This comes with the type of growth they have experienced but it can be disheartening to see the values the company used to stand for be cast aside in the pursuit of ever increasing revenue goals.
