Pros
Benefits and pay remain competitive within the industry, particularly with stock payouts. It's largely still a good place to work a 9-5 with job security.
Cons
However, the differentiating culture of Google that had attracted so many initially is largely gone. The goodwill is no longer there, people are stressed and competitive about the next role, and there's probably not much to differentiate it now from any other tech company. Upward mobility is limited.
