Pros

- lots of senior UXers you can learn from - monetarily this is a great place to be a UXR. If you are good, you can expect a good pay trajectory. Great benefits & perks. - lots of stability

Cons

- experience varies a LOT depending on the team & product - If you like speed, this is not the place for you. Things are slow unless you are in a new bet area. - career growth is gradual..there are steps & you usually don't jump levels. (This can be a pro if you want to have slow & sustainable growth)

Pros

Lots of pros to working at Google as a PhD intern: - Salary - Benefits - Company culture - Resume boost + future opportunities - Professional development and translation of skills to industry...

Cons

- Big company so you really need to be self-motivated to maximize your experience - Often working longer than 9-5 to get projects done - No ceiling on output (even though work life balance is encouraged) so you can end up working very hard
