      Pros

      Its really hard to think of anything good but if you like to handle rotten food this job is perfect for you.

      Cons

      My training hours used to cover stock team. Micro managed for the 50+ hour work week (50 hours required year round). GM who disappears for smoke breaks all day. Extreme favoritism in scheduling, I was randomly selected to close every holiday while other key holders got extended breaks and even the week before Christmas off. dangerous freezer floor with metal that sticks up and trips you. Be sure to use all your personal/sick days before you leave or expect to get nothing.

      Pros

      Great leadership team. You can tell they care about you and your family. They have $1000 weekly guarantee. My route only pays about $550, so I get 450 for free. They make sure you are taken care of. The leadership team truly cares about you and your family. If this is what GFS is, the rest of my time here will be great. Good benefit plan, low cost. Profit Sharing 100% match 401k Nice equipment Per Diems Great training, I felt like I was set up for success. I have worked at many other food service companies and most did not care to know my name or train me. I worked for some national companies. They are building a DC here and there is going to be a lot of growth. Currently we are working out of drop yard.

      Cons

      It is a con but it is part of the job. We work weekends, it is very physical. They expect a lot out of you but management works hard to. A lot of hours, 50-55 a week.
