Pros

Family atmosphere. Clean store with loyal customer base.

Cons

Part-time job. Not going to get rich working here but it's a great job for someone looking for a solid part-time job. Small bonuses are possible throughout the year.

Pros

I really don't have much good to say except they were so despite to fill the position after a long run of rotating Asst managers they were willing to say anything to get me aboard. That is they were very egger to "seem" pleasant at the start to try to get me in. Plus back when I was working there in 2011 you got 5 super itchy button up GFS shirts I also got a trip up north to meet the home office staff and The Gordons. Knowing I had a better job coming (waiting on construction) I tried to get the to put this trip off some but of course they don't listen. I did like my wo workers.

Cons

The VERY WORST work life balance ever. Be ready to be scheduled 50+ hours a week, Have to go to the off site bank on "your time" (your gas on or off the clock) and be called into the store for overnight freezer alarm resets. This is not even mentioning off hours required meetings and driving on days off to neighboring cities for required meetings. The training is online "phase training" my GM didn't help me much on, I may to talked to him about it twice for 30 min total. My DM wanted me to take the online "timed" test at the return counter on floor while helping customers (just to have it time out). I did learned of things on this test that was never shown or the GM never talked to me about - holes in training. Looking back on it makes me laugh, if the test was based on my trianing it should of been more about tossing spoiled food, checking in product working in (my case) a hostle work environment.
