Pros

The business hours are convenient for family life.

Cons

Training program is a mess, managers don't know what to do and are unwilling to "look stupid" by asking anyone higher up for help, low pay for industry, no employee protection in any aspect. I have never worked with such a large group of people that were all SO unhappy. It is not hard to see why they have an INCREDIBLY high turnover rate. Virtually no opportunity for advancement. Very little diversity, and not a very welcoming environment to anyone offering any diversity.

Pros

The short workday and the amazing people I worked with!

Cons

Owners are out of touch and yet want to micromanage from a distance. No training program, overworked closers have to figure out training as they go. No real managers, experienced closers can approve time card changes for other offices but they don’t actually have any authority to make decisions for their area. Even small issues have to go all the way up to the owners who naturally shoot down suggestions.

Pros

I’ve been with Gowey Title for a while now, and one of the things I appreciate most is how much the company truly cares about both its employees and customers. The team atmosphere is supportive, management is approachable, and everyone works hard to make closings go as smoothly as possible. It’s a fast-paced industry, but the people here genuinely step up to help each other and clients when challenges come up. I’m proud to be part of a company that values relationships, professionalism, and doing things the right way.

Health insurance is high but I hear that is normal these days
