Awful - Closing Officer Gowey Abstract & Title Employee Review

I’ve been with Gowey Title for a while now, and one of the things I appreciate most is how much the company truly cares about both its employees and customers. The team atmosphere is supportive, management is approachable, and everyone works hard to make closings go as smoothly as possible. It’s a fast-paced industry, but the people here genuinely step up to help each other and clients when challenges come up. I’m proud to be part of a company that values relationships, professionalism, and doing things the right way.

Owners are out of touch and yet want to micromanage from a distance. No training program, overworked closers have to figure out training as they go. No real managers, experienced closers can approve time card changes for other offices but they don’t actually have any authority to make decisions for their area. Even small issues have to go all the way up to the owners who naturally shoot down suggestions.
