Pros

Amazing training program, great atmosphere. You are given the chance and tools to succeed.

Cons

Salary lacks slightly, though at Account Manager position it is more lucrative - promoted within 2 yrs if you succeed at TSR position.

Pros

Competitive Salary plus profit sharing, great culture, unlimited business potential, fast paced work environment

Cons

Goals change frequently and many times are out of line. Grainger is a complex company where sometimes it takes hours to get the simplest things done.

Pros

Grainger grants its reps autonomy and ownership over their sales territories. We are consistently provided with the necessary resources to exceed sales targets. Great company to work for.

Cons

Pathways to promotion are sometimes arbitrary and unclear. The compensation for this position is good for reps with no experience, but after 18 to 24 months you become underpaid for the amount of work, skill, and revenue.
