Pros

Good benefits and reasonable promotion opportunities

Cons

Too risk averse an not focused enough on growing top line. Too many sales representatives and too large a branch network.

Pros

Good name recognition for resume. Meet a lot of interesting people. Decent company culture and freedom to run your territory.

Cons

The pay is not great but it's also not difficult to survive. Growth depends on area and competitors. Not much on advancement.

The good & bad

Pros

THey are a strong company wit a very strong brand. Financially stable. Highly focused on training and consistency across the sales organization. Great company to work for on the operations side, but sales people are treated like cattle who are herded in and easily replaced.

Cons

Opportunities for advancement are low. The "good ol boys" club is VERY tight-knit and it's very difficult to break into that group without sacrificing: pride, integrity, and work life balance. Promotions are based upon likeability rater than capability.
