Pros

Overtime is double-time Gym on site, culture of health and fitness Three weeks of PTO of out the gate Opportunities for bonuses and extra company holidays (and commissions for account managers and sales reps) In operations, clear work-life balance (never obligated to check email outside of work, overtime is a mostly a choice, etc.)

Cons

Very political, divided by department Relatively young management, not always professional environment Stress can go from 0 to 60 in a matter of minutes Not much innovation, Granite is mostly reselling what other companies are offering Strict hours (8-5, 1 hour unpaid lunch) Terrible commute during the school year if you have to take the highway

Pros

(space because i need at least 5 words)

Cons

There is not enough space in this section to go over all the cons. Granite is the 2017 version of a prison camp. You are not treated like a human being and im surprised this place hasn't been shut down for how they treat there employees. You are barely even a number there. Recruiters will tell you everything you want to here to make it sound like the best place ever. LIES. 95% of sales reps will be gone within the first year mainly of their choice. Telecom is an impossible sale because it is 2017 and they re-sell copper telephone lines. I just want to guide anyone considering working here too not. I'd take any other job anywhere then work here, even be a janitor at a strip club. Hope this helps to you potential dead souls.

Pros

Good benefits/401k matching Great location, right next to the Red Line and I-93, easy for commuters Onsite Job Training MidManagement and Supervisors are all down to earth and willing to help Sometimes OT is available Upper Management makes an effort to keep all depts. involved and on task Free gym onsite

Cons

Low Pay for non-sales departments Some departments are not run quite to the same standards and practices as others, resulting in undertrained and incompetent coworkers Some facilities need upgrading: bathrooms are always dirty and smelly, cafeteria is too small (and expensive!), elevators periodically break in between floors, etc Strict punch-in/punch-out times, unpaid lunch, no option to work from home
