Pros

Pay and benefits were good

Cons

The training process and management were terrible. I got scolded in a meeting with HR for “asking too many questions” within my first couple of weeks and management instantly pressured me into quitting. Leadership and training needs a serious overhaul. I was constantly talked down to and made to feel like I am stupid within my first few weeks of learning the systems and how to do the job. The way I was treated did not feel right and I feel relieved to leave this company.

Pros

learn how things work and how to be safe

Cons

working with lots of egos and lazy people that have been there 30 years and they been there done that so they talk and laugh at you trying, on camera at every step and can be fired for standing inappropriate from Georgia. Working as a little pee-on at the warehouse and was never allowed to change departments or use my college degree to have a better paying job, but was stuck at the least paying job of the entire mill. Worst design of a warehouse that upper management or any owner of the mill cares of the safety of its employees. Has ZERO exhaust fans to allow air to ventilate properly and breathe. Warehouse work is hurry, fast and quick that requires deadlines. Summer times surrounded by metal box with zero fans, or exhaust of air that can reaches extreme heat. Work harder and faster though is the companies motto, we watch you on camera and laugh if you overheat. Perception of my work there where I was wrote up for sitting down and yelled at after fighting a fire and had heat exhaustion. I had to hurry and put rolls up in warehouse and get a bottle of water and get up. This is what happens when no swivel chair people care about the equality of person that is applying to work when they have spent hours and years in college to learn a trade that goes unnoticed. Warehouse work from here has lead me to believe that it is looked down upon and where uneducated people work. I am one voice. Thank you
