      Pros

      was close to home, plenty of overtime available, decent pay. Voluntary overtime was common. Over the road drivers will find this to be good news now that they don't have to deal with the extremely slow and lazy shipping and receiving dockworkers!

      Cons

      NO communication. outdated/old machinery. Poor maintenance. Management was way too busy covering their own backsides to see that the the plant was in decline. Forced overtime was common.

      Pros

      401(k) is very good but does not make up for the rest of the mess that has been created in Tuscaloosa.

      Cons

      1 person makes vast majority of ALL decisions. Hard work and dedication make no difference. I have worked at many different places, but nowhere like this. Its not who you know and who you meet, its more who you blo1 and who you ea!. Many employees are not even allowed to sign up for better jobs. Jobs posted in plant are already given to who the 1 person decides. Really needs a union!

      There are a number of reasons to work at Graphic Packaging International. Great pay and fairly decent working conditions .

      There are a few down points of working at Graphic Packaging . The twelve hour shifts and rotating from night to day every twenty eight days.
