      Big Company, bigger focus on how things look to stock market, focused more on the stocks than team members. Company ran off a spread sheet and employees are just a number expendable at any moment. Seniority and producing holds no merit.

      Pros

      Solid salary. Engaged feedback from upper management. Extremely hard-working, professional hourly workforce compared to most places. A great workforce, in fact. It is not hard to lead a successful team in this plant because there are not a lot of employee issues.

      Cons

      Long shifts. 12 hour shifts plus extra time for supervisors make it 14 hours. Constantly criticized by management for any lack of results. New duties and paperwork constantly being piled on down to the supervisor level without realizing that this takes the leader away from the people and takes him off the floor. Also the tough work environment leads to some high turnover, and the job is technical so this hurts production because experienced operators are hard to replace.
