You are required to work overtime which would be fine if it were on rotation but you are excepted to work 6 days a week 12 hour days I did the math and with drive time to and from work along with sleep time hours all deducted I get 24 hours at home but that doesn’t mean I get to see my family either because they have work too which this company does not care that you also have obligations to your family as well and would like to participate in parenting and raising your child. Also the management or people who work in the offices will not see you as anything more than a number they don’t ask you your name just the number how impersonal and very demeaning to be refer to as a number just says to the people that work for you they aren’t even important enough to remember their name or to be called by their name. Which leads me to why they use numbers because the turnover rate for employees is like a revolving door most people can’t take the overload of overtime given to them and eventually point out which is another downside to this company especially since you are excepted to work so much overtime there will be a time that you will over sleep and be late, I have worked other places with point systems in place which in my opinion aren’t realistic at all when it come to life’s circumstances but this company’s point system has been the worst by far. There is no training what so ever your excepted to just know what to do. Then to top it off along with your long hours you only get 10 minute breaks and a 20 minute lunch which isn’t even long enough to eat anything or walk to the outside of the building. They except a high production rate with broken equipment or equipment that is always breaking and no one to fix it properly. They also have the overtime draft which it goes by seniority so the person who was last hired always get the short end of the stick which usually means you always have to stay for the overtime and they usually don’t tell you until last minute and when you start getting used to working all the overtime and it been written down on your schedule and finalized if someone of seniority wants it they just take without having to inform you which is rude and causes confusion. I believe once a schedule is finalized it should stay that way unless the staff is spoken too in person so everyone can be informed of said changes so there is no confusion or points given when they are not there due to their schedule being changed without their knowledge.
