Pros

Pension, but it was taken away for new hires which was a mistake.

Cons

Management dictated who would be successful by account assignment...also, very unrealistic sales goals based off of that account base.

A Disappointing Experience

Pros

Employee Ownership and Educational Opportunities.

Cons

Overall, the compensation, benefits and paid time off policies are not competitive and are poor in relation to similar companies. The company car policy is also not good - basically, the reps pay for their own fuel and reimbursed very little or end up owing the company money monthly for use of the vehicle and this is not described in the interview or onboarding process. Leadership is poor and not professional in certain branches. It isn't uncommon for reps to have established accounts taken away from them and given to newer employees on a regular basis. Little opportunity for growth and it seems run by cliques. Overall, I regret ever accepting the offer and spending time at Graybar.
