Thanks for leaving a review. We always encourage employees who wish to advance to speak to their manager or HR Advisor. At Graybar, it is possible to not only advance within your current role by receiving promotions up to higher levels in many cases, but also to move to adjacent roles or even other departments, as skills and experience are transferable.

Good benefits, Environment too political

Pros

Fair pay and good benefits.

Cons

Many people have worked there for decades. This leads to a lot of nepotism and favoritism which can be discouraging to new employees attempting to establish themselves amongst the ranks. Leadership is very distant from day-to-day operations leading to a disconnect between what each employee is actually contributing to the achieve the bottom line.
