Pros

Paid time off, good if you are a suck up. Tenured employees can even punch coworkers and remain hired. This happened here.

Cons

Terrible management communication, terrible management listening skills. If you are the employee that gets punched by a tenured employee, you will also become terminated. This happened here.

Pros

If you want to get your start in the industry. Then move on to another company. Benefits are ok.

Cons

Graybar is behind the times . Pay is terrible. You have to work for a very long time and be in outside sales to make money . I talked to other women that had been working there for years and making low 40’s. I wouldn’t stick around that long and suffer. It’s decent if you just got out of college and be your first job. As an adult with bills you will barely survive.

Thank you for leaving a comment. At Graybar we do everything we can to ensure salaries are commensurate with experience, but there are many factors that are taken into account when determining someone's pay. We also benchmark our jobs to ensure we pay in line with the industry, profession, and geographic areas.
