Pros

Graybar was a great place to work and I would consider working there again. They have a very solid retirement plan that consists of 401k, Profit Sharing, private company stock, and Pension.

Cons

Graybar has an old school approach and they have a lot of long term employees. Many have seniority but also have become complacent. They are starting to clean up that act, but while I was there, I saw many "C" players that may have been "A" players at one point in their career. Also, the pay was below average. I started working with another company, doing essentially the same thing, and I earn approximately 25% more.

Pros

Good benefits and good people working there.

Cons

Dysfunctional. No leadership at local or district level. Company talks about opportunities but there really are not any. People stay in positions for years and there is no accountability for poor performance or poor management.
