Pros
Great Hearts has good qualities, the teachers I have seen enjoy being around their students.
Cons
Hypocrisy. Admin expect others to live up to a standard that they cannot live. Once you do something either good or bad they use it. Which I find ridiculous a good person in their 1st year of teaching can go bad in the second or 2rd year. You do not cling ot what they did in the 1st year if they are no longer meeting or exceeding the expectations. Also, someone can make a mistake and that mistake keeps following them around even though they have clearly changed. Admin are not perfect and they know that but it is hard or have respect for someone who is unwilling to admit they have issues but expect you to admit yours. Now,I cannot say it is all admin having only been to two Great hearts . Very little diversity, not only in culture but in teaching methods.
