Pros

Very solid business plan, privately held, still run by the same family that founded the company in the 30's. People are treated well.

Cons

Because it's a stable environment, advancement takes longer. It's a trade off between advancement opportunities abd stability. If the company had 20% turnover, advancement would be easier. But 20% turnover means that in 5 years, you're gone too.

Steady work and overtime if you want it which is quite a change since supervisors are paid a monthly salary

Cons

if you are taking a job with green bay packaging they do not count your time in the industry towards yor vacation time
