Thanks for taking the time to write this positive review! I've also found from the 10 short months of being here that there are so many opportunities within the company, and there is such a strong family culture feel across all of the departments. It's always nice to hear when someone else feels the same way! Sammi HR Specialist

Pros

They invest money back into the company to benefit the employees and they believe in their employees. They also allow employees the freedom to move around in the company.

Cons

Location: Wausau, WI is a village compared to Milwaukee or Chicago.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review on Greenheck, we really appreciate it when our employees take the time to review us. With our new Innovation Center, renovation of our Education Center, and expansion of our QuadMed clinic/fitness center, Greenheck has really done a great job at reinvesting in the company. I've also seen that people are able to move into other positions that they may not have experience or education in, which I think is a pretty unique benefit that Greenheck has. Wausau is definitely small, but as someone who isn't a city person, it's the perfect size for me. It has a lot of great outdoor activities for both summer and winter, though you're right, if you're looking for the "city feel" you won't find it here! Thanks, Sammi HR Specialist

Pros

Great experience getting to know Greenheck culture, products, and manufacturing process. Company takes great care of their employees.

Cons

My boss made the work environment very stressful to work in. I felt very discouraged when I was unable to understand certain concepts at first and when I attempted to ask questions he would often look frustrated. It made it very challenging to bring up certain questions when I would be confronted with a negative attitude. I felt that as a leader/boss he should have found a better way to deal with his frustration and help work me in the right direction with a positive attitude whenever there was confusion on my part. This was a difficult situation to bring up to higher management as he appears to treat everyone else with such high level of respect and kindness. I feel I would have been viewed as the individual in the wrong. I would hope this never happens to anyone else. My personal experience with the company was great, but no company is worth the headache if your boss makes you feel discouraged and belittled. I have friends who have had great experiences with the company so it may either be my department or perhaps my personality and ability did not suit my boss's expectations. Although I had my personal issues, I would still highly recommend the company. The company itself is great, there will always be some individuals that will make life difficult.

Thank you for taking the time to review Greenheck, and I'm glad you agree that it's a great company! I was disappointed to hear about your experience with your manager, if you're still a current employee, I would like to talk to you more about it (email me at hrrec@greenheck.com). As a company, we always want our employees to feel respected, challenged, and motivated during their time with us. I would hope our employees feel that they can reach out to HR, or management to assist in situations such as yours. It's another way Greenheck takes care of its employees. Thanks again for your review, and reach out with more comments at hrrec@greenheck.com. Thanks, Sammi HR Specialist
