Pros

Creative environment. Great designs. Employee discount.

Cons

GS berates you and other members of the team on an ongoing basis. You live in fear. Not a normal office, by any means. Very high turnover.

Pros

Convenient commute for those living in Westchester county.

Cons

Permanently irritated and vengeful owner, especially in the morning. You never know which employee is the next Enemy of the People. The current Enemy of the People is trashed in front of everyone until he/she is fired or resigns.

Pros

Nice people. Able to observe and learn all facets of the business and potentially change your position, grow. Lively, busy studio. Able to study classic, vintage pieces. Ms. Scott has a discerning visual capability and a demanding taste level. Ultimately this is a great experience because it keeps you on your toes. Lots of nice people, spacious office well lit with a kitchen and access to fresh water and a refrigerator. Ms. Scott has laugh out loud funny moments. Lloyd Buchanan receives 5 stars: friendly, accessible, intelligent. Follows thru.

Cons

Location and commuting from Brooklyn. Neighborhood and crossing the street from the train. Cost of relocating to be closer to job. Noise a bit too noisy for me at times. Salary is decent but not for the bother of the commute. Same money can be earned in the city where there are more options for employment (and more competition).
