Pros

the best reason to work here would be if your in a severe financial crisis. Ex: homeless, or first job.

Cons

1- No benefits 2- false promises (ex: hired as full time, but only receive 3 days on the schedule before holidays 3- If you are grocery, they WILL over work you. 4- in my case, they told me I could not take my lunch at 3.9 hours and told me I have to work till my '5th hour'because it's, "illegal to take lunches before your 4th hour". 5- you will be blamed for your owners bad business dealings. 6- grocery outlet corporate will not intervene with any employee concerns. 7- your Human Resource is the owner or one of his or her choosing. there is no over sight. in my case the HR was his wife.

Thank you for sharing your experience as a Clerk. As you know, our stores are independently owned and operated and we typically encourage our employees to reach out to the store’s independent owner to share more about their experience. Although in this case, we actually don't have any stores in Alabama so their may be some confusion there.
