The people who work here are nice.

Cons

Laws for Minors and working hours were ignored. Good employees were fired for family emergencies, things out of their control. A lot of creepy and drunk customers at night, which feels unsafe to work alone in.

Pros

A great company to work for with caring people. Great to connect with the community and give back to them in ways of donations, sponsorships and partnership. Grocery Outlet makes groceries affordable in a time of need.

Cons

We went thru a system upgrade that was very hard on all of us. There is light at the end of that tunnel as system operations continue to progress. You have to be humble and work hard to grow your business. It is not for everyone, but to those that do it is rewarding.

With GOI, you have real opportunity to own your own business. You have a great partner with goals aligned with your own. If you still have a passion from the days of the true merchants, this is the place for you. If you desire to make a difference in your community, if you need to free yourself from the shackles of corporate red tape, if you just want to do it your way, if you want endless income potential, if you have a competitive spirit with the work ethic to win the customer, this is the place for you! If you desire any of these qualities in your work place, why are you working for someone else? Take a leap. I assure you, you can do it. You'll have all the support you need along your way to independence.

Cons

Business ownership is not for the meek. You need true grit. This company had recently gone through some difficult changes in our system updates. Those "growing pains" have mostly corse corrected. This group of leaders and operators are in position to drive results and income for this brand.
