Pros

This review is for Grocery Outlet headquarters: - Longer tenured employees make new hires feel welcome, are willing to share their knowledge, and are open to new ideas. - Most new employees come in with positive attitudes, are excited to learn, and are prepared to share their new ideas & perspectives. - The company actively supports its positive working environment – plenty of company-sponsored social events (potlucks, holiday-themed events, ping-pong tournaments, etc.) - Opportunities for professional growth. Managers and coworkers are supportive of trying new ideas, seeking training opportunities, and moving up in the company. - Good work/life balance.

Cons

- Most departments rely on individuals to be self-starters. People who prefer clearly defined job responsibilities or more stagnant or predictable companies will probably find the high expectations and rapid pace of change difficult. - Our building is open-concept and does not have individual offices. Although it’s a pretty common set up these days and coworkers are respectful, it could be difficult depending on your work-style.
