Thank you for sharing your experience as a Freight Team Associate. As you know, our stores are independently owned and operated. I would encourage you to reach out to your store’s independent owner to share more about your experience. Best of luck in your career endeavors!

Pros

Onboarding process was relatively smooth, especially considering I've only been in the office two times since I began working at GO. Everyone I have worked with so far is very friendly and approachable. Although the Company had their IPO last year and is hiring a lot of new employees, it still has the feel of a small company.

Cons

Not much. Main thing to be aware of is that the company is now public and with that can come growing pains (i.e. various new systems need to be implemented and roles can change more frequently than normal)

We're glad to hear you had such a smooth onboarding experience, especially during the pandemic. Looking forward to building great memories with you now being a part of the GO family!

Pros

Many skills were taught with my time in the company. I worked my way up from Cashier to Frozen department Manager in less than 2 years. This was only able to be done by absorbing all the information that was taught to me, and simply piecing little bits of everyone's feedback.

Cons

In my particular case the problem didn't come from the actual job itself, but the management. The actual owners of the store themselves are the best you could think of, but certain managers put on an act when they come around. I am understanding of there being a rank system at work but just because one is titled higher than another doesn't give them the right to disrespect and talk down to you.
