Family owned, sense of pride. You get to contribute ideas and creativity. You directly see the impact you made with your merchandising and customer service skills. You are treated like family and valued.

Cons

Pay isn’t competitive but they make up for it with small perks and you feel valued.

Your experience will vary depending on the ownership/management at each individual store, I worked at two different stores and had good owners at both stores.

Cons

There was no employee discount. Any retail environment will have good days and bad days depending on the interactions.
