Pros

Grow.com has some nice people working for it and the benefits are decent. Everybody is genuinely friendly.

Cons

The company isn't really going anywhere. Their code base is an absolute mess and they are trying to juggle far too many integrations for the number of developers they have. They have been trying to re-identify their purpose as a company in latter years. I can't speak for what happened before 2021, but I have been told by both internal and external sources that they experienced a lot of churn and "pivots." Domo & Google dominate the larger "enterprise" corporate accounts and Grow isn't able to charge a premium for their service because it can't really compete on that level, so they are stuck right now in the small/medium "value" sector. It's hard for them to keep clients as the product is a buggy mess and they (the company as well as the clients) know that. I once pointed out a massive security flaw (and yes, it was serious) and was told "don't worry about it, just get back to work." That gives you a pretty good idea of their culture right there. The CEO lives in Puerto Rico and is marginally connected to the company at best.

Pros

Fast-paced environment Going above-and-beyond is generally recognized and rewarded Excellent senior-level individual contributors Generally good mobility to move within the company for career development

Cons

If you're not a yes-person with senior leadership, you may find yourself on the outs Team building and unity is lacking within many teams Some middle-management isn't empowered to make meaningful contributions and change to their team

Pros

Great work/life balance. I've loved the degree of autonomy I have. Definitely no micromanaging here. The culture is awesome. Everyone I've met has been great. Honestly, it feels good to be working with a group of responsible, reasonable, and hard working people on an awesome product.

Cons

The only cons I can think of are the typical pains of a rapidly growing startup. We are adding new people all the time and with that growth comes rapid change. But the management team have done a very good job of dealing with things. But if you don't mind adjusting to new team members and accepting new or different responsibilities then you'll be fine. To me, this feels more like a pro than a con but I know people who feel differently so I put it here.
