Pros

Good pay and benefits packages for the industry. Friendly employees and clean working environment. Good HR staff that will work with you to find the right departmental fit. Monthly bonuses were based on personal performance rather than on group goals.

Cons

Changes in daily responsibilities happen frequently, making it difficult for employees to gain a full understanding of their job. Upper management makes unilateral decisions before finding out how the decisions will affect the various departments. Due to corporate downsizing responsibilities outside of the job description happen frequently.

Pros

If you like fun manager meetings, (a lot of drinking with good food mixed in) Guaranty is great. Otherwise, there was not much to be impressed with.

Cons

In my experience the politics within the company was unbearable. Everybody is watching out for themselves. Overall, I felt that there was a lot of lip service with little follow through. Meetings were unproductive and a total waste of time. There was little postive feedback and communication was poor. They gave little support and a lot of pressure. Goals were not realistic. Management was inconsistent. Turnover in the company is very high. It's a tough place to work.
