Pros

Help you with licensing. Thats it.

Cons

They will tell you what you want to hear. Read my story, its loaded with my cons. I was hired full time as a mobile patrol officer. Once hired, was told by the mobile patrol division that i didnt have a place or there wasnt a place available for me. So the guy that hired me put me as a standing guard. He told me when a mobile position opend that he would slide me in it. Lie #1. It never happend. Mobile positions opened up, never got told. A gate remote control was lost or stolen while i was off my shift. I reported it when i returned to my post. Called my supervisor and told him of the incident and he told me he would take care of it. Meanwhile i had to sit outside the perimeter for over a month with no restroom available, had to pee with the homeless or drive 4 miles to walmart to go do #2. Lie #2 I met with the property manager one day and asked why we werent given another way of entry to the property. He told me that he knew nothing about a lost remote. So he called my supervisor and asked what was up with the situation. My supervisor threw me under the bus and basically tried to say he knew nothing about the ordeal. Well, i had text messages to prove that he lied. So the property manager knew i was telling the truth. After that incident i was treated a little different by the company and my shift days shortened to 3 days. I was working more before that. Retaliation? Maybe. Anyways Lie #3 was recently offered a raise in pay, different assignment and a move to full time. Hmmm? Strange? That is what i was suppose be doing from the start. Looks like to me a bunch of crap going on here. Glad to say i will not miss working for this company. You have no benefits for your employees. The insurance you offer wont cover crap, and the hourly pay you offer isnt worth it. I started at 12.00 hr, and i know a few others that were hired behind me were offered more. I know because i saw the offers made on indeed. So some adivse to you excutives at Guard Texas, dont lie to your employees. Pay them good, and offer better benefits.
