Some sites treat you well, but it depends on the clients staff on site.

Low pay Company losing clients left and right Poor management Rampant favoritism My site supervisor was married to our direct supervisor (field captain) Hires anyone with a heartbeat Often pulls people from posts without clients on site to work posts with clients on site.

Pros

Some job sites don't require any interaction so its good for introverts, consistent schedules.

Cons

Barely any communication with management unless they need something from you, my commanding officer changed three times and I found out through other security guards not management, managers who have never been guards try to tell guards how to do their job on occasion, field captain site reviews happen sometimes months apart. Hardly any career development help or extra training once you get your independent security license they pit you to work if hired.
