Descent benefits start day one I'd start. Kinda private. Dental insurance is a win.

Pros

The Guardian has very good products that are position for middle to upper level class. The training is very clear and the compensation is ideal for an entry level financial adviser. The office downtown is beautiful, they provide lots of support and their planning is based on a complete financial computer software "the Living Balance Sheet" They also have very good benefits.

Cons

Getting around the back office can be complicated. Also, if you do join, make sure you understand the compensation system and stay on top of your commissions. There are expenses that are not clearly explained when they make the offer.
