Pros

- Good benefits - Reasonable compensation - Generally a pleasant place to work

Cons

Change in senior management brought in a number of "Black belt" bean counters. Numerous long term employes let go without cause. CEO talks about how the Guardian values its employees. The remaining executives justify their jobs through "cost savings" aka more people being fired.

Pros

Things are different now, but when I worked there it was great. Benefits were great, co-workers were great and so was mgmnt. Lots of opportunities for advancement. Guardian is a solid company with headquarters in NYC.

Cons

None while I was working there. Former colleagues who are still working there are very unahppy. Too many managerial changes. Respect for employees personal lives is almost non-existent.
