Pros

Tons of resources to learn new skills on the job; They have really mastered remote working.

Cons

For a consultancy that advises large corporations about change management, Guidehouse is particularly bad at it themselves. They announced a 2% reduction in the U.S. workforce at noon and locked everyone who was being let go out of the system by 5pm. I n ever got an exit interview. I never even spoke to my supervisors. And I was not able to properly hand-off projects that I was in the middle of completing. Months of work wasted because they didn't give us a day or two notice. Unconscionable and unprofessional.

Pros

autonomy, with tons of resources to help you learn new skills and stay abreast of industry innovations. Good opportunities to interact with senior executives of leading energy management original equipment manufacturers.

Cons

Quality of research needs improvement, but management seems more concerned with meeting arbitrary deadlines. Anybody can produce dozens of reports each quarter, if they are mediocre and based on fictitious numbers. Clients are more interested in analysis that us robust and based on rigorous research.
