Pros

Good discount on merchandise, paid sick and vacation time as well as health insurance benefits.

Cons

Inflexible scheduling and inadequate pay results in general attitude of apathy among employees and a poor work environment. This ultimately results in a high employee turnover rate that means that many associates lack the experience to adequately perform job duties and also that the few that do learn soon realize that they aren't fairly compensated for their time and leave the company. Meanwhile it seems that upper management is completely out of touch with the day to day issues at the store level and thus initiatives taken to improve conditions fall far short of making any appreciable difference.
