Pros

The environment is a lot of fun, the perks are great, the people you meet are awesome, and being around gear all day is awesome!

Cons

Odd hours, low pay, little opportunity for raises, the daily grind can occasionally be rough (customer service issues!) Sell or die atmosphere.

Pros

You can purchase anything new for cost, a great perk. It's a great place to build support for a band, network with other musicians, and meet women. If you have no problem selling people things they don't want or need, you'll do great at GC. If you have a soul, be prepared to lose it.

Cons

The pay is terrible and the level of suspicion is really obnoxious. Many of your co-workers are idiots and almost all are in their twenties and immature. It's like being in high school again. Lots of hazing and practical jokes, almost all mean spirited.
