      Pros

      Co-workers. Health insurance ok in the beginning, got worse when they started cutting cost. Clean environment. Good brand. Good for your CV

      Cons

      Salary increments almost non-existent. Few Managers are trained in being proper leaders. Doctors and OR staff think too highly of theirselves. I am sure their arms will fall off soon from all the patting of their own backs they do. God forbid u owe the hospital money for your own family's medical care, they will take u to court and garnish your wages. No offer to even deduct the amount U owe from your salary. Nope, they would rather take u to court.

      Gundersen Health System staff provides high quality health care. The staff is very patient-focused and management focuses on quality and service. It is one of the larger employers in a small market.

      Cons

      The organization has experienced a number of changes due to public policy and internal strategy. Change can be difficult for a medium-large size organization.
