      Pros

      Great people at this institution. Very community and patient oriented. Has great events throughout the year for employees and their families. I have been here for almost 10 years and have loved every moment. The department I am in is very flexible with hours making for a great work/life balance.

      Cons

      Some managers and administrators not so much in touch with the employees. Things are slowly changing though!

      Pros

      I absolutely loved the employees that I worked with. Since it is a hospital, there are obviously many regulations that need to be followed. My supervisors did a good job of training us on everything that we needed to follow, and were great at communication any changes that were occurring.

      Cons

      I worked in Dietary, and often the nurses would treat us poorly.

      Pros

      The entire IS department seemed to have everybody's best interest in mind. The atmosphere was great, and people really worked hard. Rewards were given when due, and people seemed to be judged by their performance. The people running my team had cut their teeth doing my job. When things became hectic, they helped, which isn't often seen in a system as large as Gundersen. It was the best full time working experience of my life, and I was there for 5 years, before having to relocate across the country.

      Cons

      Benefits were chopped while I was there. The pension disappeared, and the insurance covered less and less with each passing year.
